At REMi Medical, our main hypothesis has always been "The longer the active ingredients stay present at the local application site, the higher the efficacy." Meaning longer we keep the active ingredient localized to the application site the longer it does what it is supposed to so, the better the results. This has proven to be beneficial double-fold when it comes to topical treatments, especially for hair loss where local presence of the active ingredient at the application site is key for greater efficacy with lowered systemic potential side-effects.

To prove this theory, we started by monitoring hundreds of users' progress over long periods of time (Between 6 -12 months). After observing the impressive amounts of hair growth in almost all participants, a series of third party, double-blind studies were commenced. For our latest study, we hired QPS Labs, one of the world’s leading Dermal and Transdermal Permeation Research Laboratories to design and perform an in-vitro double-blind study to measure how fast the active ingredient passes through the skin before it is washed away by the bloodstream. In this study, our formula took 6 times longer (28 hours) to reach the peak flux and start curtailing of the active ingredient absorption rate into the bloodstream vs. the normal 4 hours of standard topical formulas. This sustained topical action means the active ingredients are where they are supposed to and doing what they are meant to, continuously between applications, increasing blood and oxygen flow to the follicle, increasing cell proliferation and stoping local production of DHT at the follicular level. This sustained topical action has shown great increase in efficacy in thickening existing thinned hairs as well as re-growing hairs that have fallen out over the years.

With this hypothesis proven, we are now in the process of designing and performing more studies and will update our site and the public through press releases and will publish each study as it is completed.
